Software Engineer 2 - AI Operations & Enablement

Job Summary
Research new AI solutions for adoption within the Approved AI Tooling ecosystem and leverage AWS services to create infrastructure supporting these tools. Set up and maintain data feeds to gather AI usage and cost metrics, while implementing enforceable governance guardrails across the organization. Partner with Enterprise Architecture to clear roadblocks for scaling AI tooling, manage the LLM lifecycle, and benchmark performance. Create documentation and enablement resources to help teams confidently adopt AI. This individual contributor role reports to the AI Operations Manager and works with four teammates and cross-functional departments. The position is four days onsite hybrid at the N. Scottsdale office and is not eligible for sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent experience/training
- Experience with Claude, ChatGPT, M365 Copilot, Power Automate, or similar AI tools
- AWS experience
- Java, Python, and/or JavaScript
- Experience with Harness or another CI/CD platform
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
- Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming methodologies
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing
- Exceptional verbal, written and listening communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and demeanor
- Proficient in the use of MS Office suite, including familiarity with Visio
