Job Summary
Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (100% remote not specified) at Julius Baer in Madrid, Spain. Responsible for designing, developing and testing software modules, collaborating with product owners, architects, and engineers in an agile environment. Build and maintain scalable applications using .NET and React; develop RESTful APIs; optimize databases; support CI/CD and DevOps practices; troubleshoot production issues and contribute to code reviews. Requires 5+ years of experience, strong .NET Core/C#, React, SQL, software-architecture knowledge, API design, Git, and English proficiency; degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core / .NET technologies and C#
- Solid experience with React and modern frontend development practices
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases, including database design, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning
- Good understanding of software architecture principles and application design
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
- Experience working with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
