Job Summary
Lead development of complex database interfaces and algorithms to enhance system functionality and meet mission performance standards. Design, implement, and modify software to resolve defects, adapt to new environments, and improve efficiency. Analyze system performance standards and user requirements to develop robust solutions while collaborating with systems engineers and developers. Execute software testing procedures to validate functionality and apply scientific analysis to measure design outcomes. Serve as a team lead when appropriate based on project scope. Requires active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, a Bachelor's degree, and 7+ years of experience in software development using Java, Python, or C++.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 7 years in roles on programs of similar scope and complexity
- Experience in software development, including programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and database development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
