Job Summary
Develop high-quality AI tools and applications for the workforce while ensuring their high availability, reliability, performance, and security. Modify Free and Open-Source Software to accommodate specific customer use cases and engage directly with customers to conduct requirements elicitation and develop tailored solutions. Maintain existing customer-facing infrastructure and applications to ensure reliable services, adapting quickly to shifting mission needs and new technologies. This role supports the AI infrastructure team at Akina, a small Woman Owned and Service Disabled Veteran Owned business, focusing on building the next generation of AI infrastructure that powers innovation across the customer organization.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI - Polygraph required
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles
- Knowledge of and experience with using LLMs as a part of a code solution workflow
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Strong communication skills and willingness to ask questions
- Proficiency with Python or another Object-Oriented Programming language
- 3 yrs. YOE
- B.S. in a technical discipline or 4 additional yrs. in place of B.S.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with LLM UI Open-Source software such as OpenWebUI
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud service providers
- Experience with Kubernetes/Helm
- Familiarity with Argo CD and/or other CI/CD frameworks
- Experience supporting production software using Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices
- Experience with Docker and containerization
