Job Summary
Software Enabling and Optimization Engineer responsible for developing, validating, and maintaining software components and tools for Intel Edge platforms. Will deploy and debug Intel Edge Software Components, design/develop/debug AI applications, enable Edge Customers with sample codes and demos, and install software. Provide guidance to optimize AI pipelines for Intel platforms (CPUs, GPUs, NPUs), support customers across the APJ region, and work heavily with Linux environments. Requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Proficiency in Python, Node.js, JavaScript, and Shell scripting; hands-on Linux troubleshooting; familiarity with AI tools and domains (LLM/VLM/VLA, OpenCV, GStreamer); knowledge of OpenVINO and dlStreamer is a plus; experience with AI benchmarking and real-time requirements (RTSP, TSN).
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in computer science, or a related field
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Nodejs, Javascript and Shell scripting
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting in Linux platform
- Strong understanding of AI tools and domains like LLM/VLM/VLA Agent and physical AI, OpenCV, GStreamer
- Knowledge on Intel Software components like OpenVINO, dlStreamer is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with version control systems and open-source platforms (e.g., Git, GitHub)
- Knowledge on AI benchmarking activities and understanding the reports to make comparative studies
- Knowledge on RTSP, TCC, TSN for real time application needs
