Job Summary
Software Enabling and Optimization Engineer at Intel combining collaboration with customers, ecosystem software vendors, and the open-source community to optimize and drive adoption of Intel technologies across AI, Cloud, HPC, Graphics, and Edge. Key duties include partnering with customers and collaborators to develop, test, and optimize software solutions for Intel products; analyzing and debugging complex software/BIOS issues; conducting code reviews to ensure best practices; researching and prototyping innovative solutions leveraging Intel tech; delivering differentiated benchmarks, collateral, and training; providing technical consulting and customer support; contributing to software architecture and product design; evangelizing Intel software tools to broaden ecosystem engagement. Must be able to work on-site in Guadalajara, Mexico, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills and a background in software/firmware development, debugging, and lifecycle processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- + 1 year of experience with a Bachelor's degree or no experience required with a Master's degree on the following: Programming languages such as Python and/or others relevant to software development
- Computer architecture, Firmware and operating systems
- Software/Firmware debugging, validation, and issue analysis
- Firmware/software development life cycle and code review processes
- Advance English level (to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences)
- Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship)
