Job Summary
Software Education Consultant role focused on driving adoption of Motorola's Emergency Call Management (ECM) software. Acts as an administrator-level SME to partner with agencies, bridging technical implementation and operational workflow. Responsibilities include proactive adoption and enablement, technical consultation (system provisioning, configuration, endpoint management), investigative problem solving (site reviews to diagnose bottlenecks), workflow integration with deployment teams and specialists, instructional excellence (remote and on-site training with a focus on client independence), and cross-functional collaboration with internal engineering/support. Communicate effectively with non-technical end-users to IT administrators, tailor guidance to workflows, and provide documentation for Tier 4 intervention. Note: remote role with 50% - 75% travel to customer sites in the US. Target base salary range: $78,000 - $88,000 USD.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Requirements: 3+ years of experience in technical training, 911 call handling (telephone systems), or public safety dispatch operations
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required
- Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position
- Travel requirements over 50%
