Job Summary
Senior Software Development Manager for the OCI Compute Control Plane, leading and shaping the CPO VM team’s charter with emphasis on fleet efficiency, VM placement, capacity operations, and migration readiness. Drive strategic direction, turn ambiguous needs into clear roadmap priorities, and shepherd execution across engineering, capacity, and operations partners. Co-located with leadership to maximize collaboration in Nashville and Seattle, and to strengthen engineering culture across locations while raising the bar for ownership, automation, quality, and delivery. Based in Seattle, WA or Nashville, TN, with a focus on scaling OCI through reliable, secure infrastructure and high availability. The role requires inspiring others, communicating the why behind priorities, and developing engineers with strong technical judgment to tackle high-impact infrastructure problems.
Required Qualifications
