Job Summary
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases covering functional and non-functional requirements. Create and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks while performing manual and automated testing across multiple platforms for functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing. Analyze and document software defects with detailed reproduction steps and collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve quality issues. Monitor test execution progress, report on coverage metrics, and maintain organized test documentation and environments. Stay current with emerging testing tools and methodologies to continuously improve QA processes.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or similar
- Proven experience in software quality assurance and test automation with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript for test automation script development
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, Robot Framework, PyTest, Playwright,TestNG, JUnit, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of API testing tools and techniques
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar)
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to document findings clearly and concisely
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
