Job Summary
Software Development Project Manager in Herndon, VA leading a team of software developers to support the customer mission. Responsibilities include identifying project needs and tasks for an enterprise application, organizing activities, managing requirements and deliverables, engaging with SMEs to clearly define and assess requirements, maintaining project documentation and quality standards, cultivating relationships with mission partners, coordinating diverse stakeholder needs, and communicating status to customer and internal leadership to obtain approvals for project control gates/phases. Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma with 10+ years in Project Management, System Engineering, or Project Integration, 5+ years managing software development teams, experience with Jira and Confluence, and Agile/Scrum Master experience. Preferred qualifications include a technical Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years supporting IC customers/programs, 5+ years in a technical lead role, PMP or ITIL certification, and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. Required Qualifications
