Job Summary
Lead and mentor a software engineering team to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable full-stack software solutions for TaxSlayer. Partner with Product, Design, Architecture, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable technical plans; provide architectural oversight across modern full-stack systems; drive agile practices (sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, release management); promote engineering best practices (code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, secure development); identify and mitigate risks; support hiring, onboarding, and capacity planning; align engineering output with customer outcomes; bring expertise in C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Angular, SQL databases, Git/Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern design principles in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- 2+ years of experience leading or managing software engineering teams
