Job Summary
Software Development Manager for OCI AI Infrastructure, leading the AI Data Plane team to design and deliver a highly available, massively scalable GPU platform for AI/ML/HPC workloads. Role focuses on architectural changes for GPU delivery, health monitoring, triage automation, and diagnostics across thousands of GPUs in a distributed cloud environment. Responsibilities include leading an engineering team with hands-on management, owning project delivery, communicating with senior leadership, and growing the team. Requires technical excellence in distributed systems, high-performance environments, and the ability to dive deep into stack-level debugging, while maintaining a bias for action and collaboration in an agile setting.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading engineering teams and hands-on technical management
- Experience with high-performance, mission-critical environments
- Ability to communicate with senior leadership and drive ownership
- Comfortable leading projects in a distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment
- Knowledge of distributed systems and algorithms, and debugging/troubleshooting at low level
- Collaborative, agile mindset and ability to work across dependencies including Network and Data Center operations
