Job Summary
Year Up United offers a one-year or shorter intensive training program that combines IT Support, Application Development, and Project Management with internship opportunities and ongoing mentorship. Participants receive an educational stipend during internships and gain professional skills such as business communication, interviewing and networking, and resume building, with placement support through YUPRO Placement at organizations like Amazon, Dell Technologies, Merck, or The University of Texas System in the Austin area. The program emphasizes hands-on skill development, coaching, and career-launch guidance to help graduates secure employment or pursue further education; graduates have strong placement outcomes after completion.
Required Qualifications
- high school graduate or GED
- eligible to work in the U.S.
- available Monday-Friday throughout the duration of the program
- highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills
- have not obtained a Bachelor's degree
