Job Summary
Design and implement scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot, optimizing APIs for system reliability and performance. Develop and maintain high-performance applications while creating comprehensive testing strategies and async communication systems. Work with both relational and non-relational databases, implement robust monitoring and alerting solutions, and ensure security by design. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine technical solutions within an Agile framework, adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Manage production support and troubleshooting while leveraging CI/CD best practices and cloud computing on AWS.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience
- Proven experience working in an Agile framework (Scrum/Kanban)
- Excellent communication
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality, maintainable code
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot
- Strong experience with relational and noSQL databases
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns
- API and Async streaming
- Experience with production support and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and production deployment best practices
- Familiarity with AI tools like Claude Code and AWS Kiro
- Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones
Desired Qualifications
- AWS preferred
- Good understanding of React frontend application
