Job Summary
Design and maintain ML and data workflows using BigQuery, GCS, and cloud services to support internal products and downstream consumers. Develop backend services, pipeline components, and shared libraries for the agentic platform while building observability for production workflows, including monitoring, alerting, retry behavior, and operational diagnostics. Work closely with engineers and cross-functional partners to translate requirements into robust technical solutions, participating in team operations, incident response, and on-call rotations as needed. Partner globally with teams in engineering, infrastructure, and product to deliver high-impact systems across time zones.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years professional software engineering experience building backend systems, data pipelines, or ML infrastructure in production environments
- Strong in at least one programming language commonly used for backend or data systems such as Python
- Experience working with SQL and data processing systems
- Comfortable developing against warehouse-scale datasets
- Experience with Airflow or similar orchestration framework
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native data tooling, especially BigQuery, GCS, or similar managed storage and compute services
- Understanding of how to build reliable systems with monitoring, alerting, retries, timeouts, validation checks, and safe failure handling
- Ability to debug production issues methodically and improve systems based on operational signals and recurring failure modes
- Clear communication skills

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD, deployment gates, and regression test automation for data or ML systems
- Familiarity with ML platform patterns, feature or model-adjacent workflows, and internal platform libraries
- Experience operating systems that span multiple external dependencies and shared infrastructure layers
- Exposure to agentic platform or AI-adjacent infrastructure
