Job Summary
Co-lead the design and development of production-grade, full-stack AI applications and software infrastructure, driving technical vision for scalable, reliable systems. Drive the development of sophisticated, stateful web applications by overseeing the integration of complex React-based front-ends with backend modular services. Serve as a developer leader in distributed systems and data technologies, mentoring high-performing engineers through deep-dive code reviews and architectural workshops. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions while continuously adapting to the evolving JavaScript ecosystem. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle, adhering to industry best practices and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related field, with at least 1 year leading projects
- Experience with full-stack development building web apps, using modern programming languages such as JavaScript, Typescript or React
- Proven track record of architecting and delivering complex data projects at scale, with a deep understanding of data infrastructure and distributed systems
- Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes, with experience designing and optimizing data pipelines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence technical decisions and drive alignment across teams
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver results under tight timelines
- Must be able to report in person on an ad-hoc basis for team gatherings, functional off-sites or customer meetings
- Must be based in Colombia
