Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Job Summary
SDET to build automated tests for robot software, APIs, backend services, and end-to-end workflows spanning from cloud to physical robot; perform manual, exploratory, regression, and release testing; validate UI against requirements and design; conduct performance, load, stress, and reliability testing; test account systems, authentication, authorization, permissions, and data security flows; validate software releases at software and robot level including regression, fault-injection, and recovery testing.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as an SDET, QA Automation Engineer, Software Engineer in Test, or similar role
- Strong coding ability in TypeScript, JavaScript, Rust, Python, Java, Go, or similar language
- Experience testing modern web applications, APIs, backend services, and cloud-based software
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar
- Experience with performance or load testing tools such as k6, JMeter, Gatling, Locust, or similar
- Strong attention to detail, debugging ability, and clear written communication
