Job Summary
Build and maintain automated testing frameworks using Java, Python, Selenium, and ALM tools to support cutting-edge financial systems. Review business and functional requirements to produce test strategies and cases, then execute and manage bug triage for new and existing features. Coordinate test execution, provide user support, and troubleshoot software or hardware configuration issues while ensuring release readiness. Participate in iterative and Agile development methodologies, perform root cause analysis on escalations, and communicate status to keep the team on track.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related degree
- 3+ years' experience in reviewing product requirements and design, creating test plans, and testing distributed web-based applications
- 3+ years' Web-based GUI testing for Java/J2EE applications using data driven test methodologies
- Experience using ALM or similar test management tools
- 2+ years' experience programming in Python or Java
- Experience working in UNIX/Linux and SQL/Oracle environments
- Experience working with test automation tools
- Comfortable with test automation execution and maintenance
- Solid understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologies
- Ability to work independently and productively under pressure
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills
- Track record of completing assignments on time with a high degree of quality
- Ability to set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and decision-making ability
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM); Selenium utilizing Java; Custom Python frameworks, SoapUI and other API testing tools
- Experience participating in all aspects of a full-life cycle development methodology and related quality concepts and processes
- Gain experience with Iterative and Agile software development methodologies
