Job Summary
Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - II in a hybrid Toronto role. Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in an SDET or QA Automation engineering role with significant hands-on API automation experience
- Strong programming skills in Java for test automation
- Experience with automated testing tools and practices (e.g., Selenium or similar) along with Web Service / API testing
- Hands-on experience testing REST APIs using tools/frameworks such as RestAssured, Postman (automation)
- Solid understanding of HTTP protocols, API contracts, and SOA
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (Jira)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools, with the ability to integrate API and UI automation into delivery pipelines
