Job Summary
Design and implement major components of F5 products; research and define new areas of technology to enhance existing products or new product directions; evaluate performance and tune current designs; document software designs via functional specifications; participate in hiring/onboarding; collaborate with team members and technical leads; 3+ years programming in C or Python and product development in embedded OS; strong debugging and communication skills; emerging leadership as de facto lead in small group interactions; hybrid work model with Bangalore-based office plus remote work as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years programming experience preferably in a software language (C, Python)
- 3+ years product development experience in embedded operating systems
- Solid knowledge and experience with networking and routing protocols, Kubernetes and cloud based deployment
- Bachelor’s degree typically required; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience
- Strong analytic/troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Ability to collaborate in fast-paced environment
- Emerging leadership qualities and ability to lead in small groups
