Software Development Engineer II

Job Summary
Identify product feature interference with usability or maintainability and reproduce defect boundaries to suggest causes or dependencies. Integrate software components into existing builds, create introductory installations for small applications, and add components to the repository. Develop using software best practices, object-oriented modular code, and source control tools while reviewing project documentation in EPO. Implement specific user interface details and modify previously written unit tests and scripts as required. This intermediate individual contributor role supports moderate-difficulty product design under supervision, requiring C++ and C# experience and a BS degree. Travel by air and occasional domestic or overseas trips are required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with C++ and C# software development
- BS Degree in Software Engineering/Science or comparable
- 2-5 years of software experience
- Tactical group written/verbal communication to peers/management
- Works within framework of identified organizational strategy
- Work as directed with Senior level personnel/managers
- Meets 100% of Development Engineer (Software) Level II Competency Profile
- Must be eligible to obtain passport
- Must be able to travel by air
- Occasional overseas travel for extended periods required
- Occasional Domestic Travel required
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
- Regular and on-time attendance
- This is a hybrid position unless otherwise specified requiring 3 days in the office
