Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain clean, highly scalable backend code while evaluating and introducing cutting-edge technologies to keep the platform ahead of the curve. Integrate AI-driven tools into your daily workflow to accelerate coding, automate testing, and streamline code reviews. Analyze system data and performance metrics to proactively improve efficiency and eliminate bottlenecks. Lead technical projects, mentor peers, and drive architectural decisions in an Agile environment using Python, PostgreSQL, Redis, and ElasticSearch. Work with global research teams to define new features and advise on technical solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years experience as a Backend and Data Engineer on production environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects, mentor peers, and drive architectural decisions in an Agile environment
- Experience with relational databases - e.g., PostgreSQL / MySQL
- Experience with Redis and ElasticSearch
- Experience with production real-time & high scalable production systems
- Experience in developing backend services with known frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Celery, or any similar)
- Experience with cloud web services (AWS or OCI)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues and find effective solutions
- Innovative and sharp, ability to work in an Agile, dynamic environment with 'Can do' approach
- Excellent communication skills to work closely with global research teams defining new features based on the research results, and advising for possible out of the box technical solutions, and other teams for best integration
