Software Development Engineer (DaaS Configurator)

Job Summary
Configure and implement client data delivery solutions within the DaaS platform, building and maintaining workflows and database integrations. Analyze requirements, scope, and technical specifications to translate business needs into scalable configurations. Support dataset deliveries by validating setups against established standards and troubleshooting production issues. Collaborate with Technical Leads, Project Managers, and cross-functional teams on project discussions and peer reviews while ensuring compliance with quality processes. Availability includes EST business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST) with occasional off-hours support. This role operates within IQVIA's clinical research and healthcare intelligence division, accelerating medical treatment development to improve patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in software development, data delivery, or configuration roles
- Strong understanding of database concepts and data delivery processes
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and/or Redshift
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- English proficiency at B2+ level
- Availability to support EST business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST)
- Occasional participation in off-hours production support activities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and SFTP
- GCP experience
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical data and IQVIA datasets
- Familiarity with Agile development environments
