Job Summary
Join FOX Corporation as a Software Development Engineer (SDE) focusing on Android applications. The role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing the Android application while collaborating with internal teams and external partners. Candidates should have experience with Object Oriented Programming, Android frameworks, and proficiency in Java and Kotlin. Responsibilities include influencing product development, enhancing user experience, and exploring new mobile technologies. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or software engineering is required along with mastery of Android components and modern architecture patterns.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3-7 years of experience in working as an android developer
- Proficient in building mobile applications and mobility solutions, particularly native applications
- Mastery of basic Android components: Activity, Services, Intent, Broadcast Receiver, and Content Provider
- Mastery of Kotlin concepts
- Mastery of Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flows, Jetpack components, Kotlinx Serialization
- Strong experience with Web Service Integration (REST, JSON)
- Experience with Performance, Testing & Tooling
- Experience with Security concept - Jetpack Security, encryption, Handling OAuth and secure token storage
- Experience with Modern Architecture: MVVM / MVI patterns using ViewModel, LiveData, Flow, or StateFlow
- Experience with AI-assisted coding tools – using Android Studio’s Gemini or GitHub Copilot or Cursor
