Job Summary
Compose, build, and deliver sophisticated frontend experiences using React, TypeScript, and modern frameworks to create intuitive user interfaces for AI Assistants, conversational workflows, and intelligent document experiences within Adobe Document Cloud. Lead end-to-end delivery of complex features, from architecture and implementation through testing, deployment, and monitoring, while driving frontend architecture that improves scalability, performance, and accessibility. Develop reusable UI frameworks and component libraries, connect applications to GenAI services and APIs, and employ AI-assisted development tools to boost engineering efficiency and code quality. Diagnose intricate problems across distributed systems and define quality strategies to ensure product reliability. Partner with Product, Build, Research, and AI/ML teams to bring innovative Generative AI capabilities to customers, influencing architectural decisions and mentoring engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks
- Strong experience building large-scale customer-facing web applications and frontend platforms
- Experience architecting reusable component libraries, building systems, and modern UI frameworks
- Strong understanding of frontend performance, rendering optimization, accessibility, and responsive build
- Experience integrating applications with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud services
- Hands-on experience building or integrating Generative AI, LLM-powered, conversational, agentic, or AI-assisted product experiences
- Familiarity with timely engineering, AI application patterns, and emerging AI technologies
- Proven ability to employ AI-powered development tools to advance software delivery and increase engineering output
- Strong debugging, testing, quality engineering, and observability practices
- Applies secure coding standards and modern software development guidelines
- Mentors engineers and improves the standard for frontend engineering excellence
- Collaborates effectively with Product, Build, AI/ML, and Platform teams to deliver impactful customer experiences
- Champions accessibility, performance, quality, and customer-centric build principles
- Participates in hiring and helps build a world-class engineering organization
- Communicates architectural decisions, technical trade-offs, and execution plans clearly to both technical and business collaborators
- Drives a culture of innovation, ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
