Job Summary
Design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable cloud-native software solutions using Java/Spring Boot, Vue.js, and Python/FastAPI. Build and operate applications on AWS with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code, while collaborating with Product Management and Systems Engineering to deliver secure, maintainable features end-to-end. Apply AI throughout the AI-Assisted Software Development Lifecycle to accelerate implementation, code review, and documentation, validating all generated outputs. Contribute to engineering automation and continuous improvement practices. This role is based in Colorado with a starting salary of $86,000 to $126,500 annually.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, Asylee, or Refugee)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- 3–5 years of experience developing cloud-native software applications
- Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot, Vue.js, React, Angular, PostgreSQL and Python/FastAPI
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, modern software design, Agile development, and engineering best practices
- Demonstrated experience working within an AI-Assisted (Agentic) SDLC, using AI to generate production-ready code, validate automated tests, identify and remediate defects, and improve software quality while exercising sound engineering judgment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience developing microservices and distributed systems
- Experience with GCP or multi-cloud environments
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Experience with Spec-Driven Development or specification-first engineering
- Experience creating AI agents, engineering automations, or AI-enabled developer workflows
