Job Summary
Software Engineer at Cordova to design and maintain software across the enterprise stack, building new features from scratch, configuring vendor-provided packages to fit business workflows, and constructing/maintaining APIs for internal and external integrations. Role involves identifying and documenting defects with precision, delivering in Agile with Azure DevOps, applying DevOps/CI-CD practices for stable deployments, solving moderately complex technical problems, and translating technical updates for stakeholders. Ideal candidate will have strong coding proficiency (e.g., C#, .NET, or Java), database knowledge (SQL/NoSQL), analytical problem-solving, and familiarity with business analysis and evaluating technical alternatives to balance short-term fixes with long-term health. Insurance knowledge (P&C) isDesirable. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience; Entry- to Mid-Level tenure expectations apply. Interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive data are valued.
