Job Summary
Contribute to production features across backend and frontend applications while collaborating with engineers, product owners, and designers to deliver customer value. Write clean, maintainable, tested, and well-documented code, participate in code reviews, and debug issues to improve system reliability and performance. Required Qualifications
- Experience programming in at least one modern language (TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, Go, or similar)
- A strong foundation in software engineering fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and software design principles
- Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development
- Some exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), whether through coursework, personal projects, or internships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A genuine curiosity about how software systems work and a desire to continuously learn
- A growth mindset and eagerness to receive feedback and continuously improve
- Must be able to work in a hybrid or remote setting (Boston, MA; Vancouver, BC; or Vancouver, WA)
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as React is considered an asset
