Job Summary
Design, implement, and deploy custom accounting software, data integration services, and reporting portals while gathering requirements with end users and leadership. Assist in back-end and front-end web development, database design, and operations, providing top-level support to the technical infrastructure team as needed. Deliver extensive documentation to IT peers and users to ensure operational readiness for new tools. This role drives digital transformation across multiple practice areas within Whitley Penn's collaborative IT department.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3-5 years' experience using .NET framework, Core or similar
- 2-5 years SQL server experience
- 2-5 years' experience in web development in Angular, ASP.NET or similar
- Knowledge of common design patterns
- Attention to detail
- Excellent time management

- Experience with GIT based source control
- Python
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field strongly preferred
- Some proficiency or experience with jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap
- Experience with GIT based source control and Python is a huge plus
