Job Summary
Lead business requirements analysis, prototyping, design, coding, and bug fixing while pushing for optimal architecture and design. Recommend and execute new approaches to existing software development processes, ensuring technical quality and managing security vulnerabilities. Collaborate with global teams to share knowledge, negotiate technical topics, and drive best practices. Contribute innovative ideas for technical improvements and business opportunities. Requires a B.S. in engineering, fluent business English, and 2+ years of experience in the banking/financial sector. Strong background in Java (Spring Framework, J2EE), Oracle PL/SQL, web services, and Linux environments is essential. Hybrid work based in Cuernavaca.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronic Engineering
- Fluent Business English
- 2+ years of software development experience
- Prior experience in the banking/financial sector
- Strong background in Java (Spring Framework, J2EE) and Oracle PL/SQL
- Experience with web services (SOAP/REST) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA2)
- Comfortable working in Linux environments
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and build tools (Maven/Ant)
- AWS cloud experience
