Job Summary
Conduct full-lifecycle development and analysis for the 24x7 traffic management center operations team, collaborating directly with business operations, technical peers, and diverse transportation ITS devices. Execute coding tasks while receiving direction from project managers, and rotate through technical on-call responsibilities. Work with users, local and state IT resources, and various application servers to deliver solutions involving HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, REST APIs, and WebSocket connections. This role supports a small team within a global IT consulting firm serving Fortune 1000 enterprises across financial services, manufacturing, and public sector markets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 Years Experience: HTML, CSS, JS
- 3 Years Experience: JSON, AJAX, REST API, WebSocket's
- 7 Years Experience: General application design & development
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent independent design, work, and interaction with the business group to understand efforts
- Good writing skills – for documentation and training
- 3 Years Experience: Development tools: JetBrains Intellij IDEA, WebStorm, postman
- 2 Years Experience: Node.js & Webkit
- 5 Years Experience: JDK (JAVA)
- 2 Years Experience: Application servers: Jetty or Nestjs
- 3 Years Experience: MySQL, MS SQL Server & PostgreSQL
- 2 Years Experience: Web development (Typescript, Angular, SIGNALS, Angular Material)
- 3 Years Experience: Build tools: Ant, Maven & JetBrains TeamCity
- Oracle, 2 years
- Apache Web Server, 3 years
- Mongo DB, 2 years
- Java Frameworks: Apache Wicket 1.6, 3 years
- Excel or poi or node-based generators for Excel, 2 years
- Team City, You Track experience
- Windows services and Java wrapped services, 3 years
