Job Summary
Senior Software Developer for SENTINEL, a web-based application to track counterintelligence entities and relationships. Responsibilities include developing new enterprise-grade .NET Core web applications using C#, Razor Pages, Dependency Injection, and Web APIs; maintaining and extending existing SENTINEL features; leveraging EF Core with SQL Server for data management (Code First, Migrations, LINQ); daily use of Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, Azure DevOps, and Git for development and version control; back-end and front-end work including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap for UI; collaboration with analysts and geospatial engineers, potential mentorship of junior developers; adherence to security requirements (DoD 8570.01-M, Top Secret/SCI) and a schedule of M-F with possible flex hours; environment includes office setting with emphasis on safety, quality, and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in a relevant field and 12 years’ relevant experience; with a portion of the experience within the last 2 years, or Bachelor’s degree and 14 years of relevant experience, or Associate degree and 16 years of relevant, or High school diploma and 20 years of relevant experience.
- Security Plus certified
- Qualified at Information Assurance Technical Workforce Requirement Level II as defined in DoD 8570.01-M, Table C3.T1.
- 12+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on .NET technologies.
- C# programming skills with object-oriented programming principles.
- EF Core & SQL Server: Experience with Entity Framework Core, Code First, Migrations, and SQL Server.
- JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).
- Azure DevOps and Git for source control, CI/CD, and collaboration.
- Knowledge of relational database principles; ability to create/modify/delete database objects.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot SQL Server performance issues.
- Experience with data visualization and graphical applications (Power BI, Tableau).
- Security clearance: Current Top Secret/SCI required.
