Job Summary
Develop, enhance, and maintain Ruby on Rails applications in a federal government project; work within an Agile team using CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows; build and support cloud-based and web-based software solutions; collaborate with developers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders; troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance; contribute to technical documentation and knowledge transfer; requires active Secret Clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance
- Minimum 1 year (within the last 3 years) in: Agile software development, CI/CD and modern DevOps practices
- Minimum 1 year (within the last 5 years) in: Cloud-based software development, Web application development, Strong proficiency with Ruby on Rails development
- Experience with REST APIs and web services
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or GC Cloud)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is an asset
- Understanding of secure coding and government security standards
