Job Summary

Design and develop AI features across software programs and applications, integrating multiple data streams into customer systems. Complete cloud platform migrations and build sustainable applications using modern DevSecOps approaches. Work within an agile scrum team to implement product backlog requirements, write user stories, and maintain efficient code repositories. Develop and modify applications, services, and interfaces that support analysts, utilizing Python, Java, Scala, and containerization technologies. Requires active TS clearance with SCI eligibility and 5+ years of professional software development experience. Salary range $134,000-$162,000 in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS clearance (with SCI Eligibility)
  • eligibility to obtain CI Poly
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering or any related field/major
  • 3 additional years of experience in information technology
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Professional software development experience designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and mission-focused applications
  • Professional programming experience with Python, Java, and Scala
  • Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs
  • Git-based workflows
  • automated unit/integration/system testing
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • modern software delivery practices
  • Hands-on experience with Docker/containerization

  • Exposure to Generative AI technologies, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Large Language Models (LLMs), and LLM-enabled workflows

  • Experience integrating, transforming, and managing data from multiple sources, organizations, and network environments
  • Ability to work within new or complex network environments
  • Practical experience applying DevSecOps principles, such as code hardening, dependency/package updates, vulnerability remediation, and automated security scanning
  • Ability to troubleshoot software and collaborate across development, infrastructure, security, and mission teams

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with data normalization, transformation, and visualization techniques
  • Basic understanding of graph-based data models, data relationships, and advanced data structures
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
  • Experience developing and presenting technical updates, metrics, or status reports
  • Intelligence Community Experience
