Job Summary
Software Developer Intern role in Thales NAS domain based in Gorgonzola, Italy. You will join an Scrum agile development team to design, develop, test and integrate software solutions and/or components. Initial focus is to build up skills on the system and participate in development, testing and integration activities, with opportunities to contribute to requirement definition, design architecture, and creation of new software building blocks. Peers are recognized experts who will support onboarding. Required knowledge includes C, C++, Python, and Linux; exposure to networking infrastructure, equipment and configuration; and effective English communication. The role offers a path toward broader software engineering tasks within avionics, navigation and radar systems, within a global, international context.
Required Qualifications
- Technical high school graduate (electronic, information technology) OR ITS (Software Development/Networking)
- Knowledge and passion for hands on laboratory activities, server administration, machine configuration and network setup.
- Basic knowledge in programming languages (C, C++, Python)
- Familiar with Linux operating systems
- Experience with networking infrastructure, equipment and configuration
- Good communication in English (spoken and written)
