Job Summary
Develop and maintain system management infrastructure software and services for HPC Linux environments; build Bash and Python automation to reduce manual effort; support DCIM, secret management, and IAM across the platform; work with Docker/Podman/containerd; use Ansible to orchestrate deployments; support CI/CD workflows and maintain Linux-based HPC platform services; role emphasizes infrastructure engineering, automation, and mission-critical reliability and security.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Or seven years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph, must be active. We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
- Experience developing Bash scripts to automate manual processes
- Recent software development experience using Python
- Familiarity with Datacenter Infrastructure Management tools such as NetBox
- Experience with secret management tools such as HashiCorp Vault
- Familiarity with Identity and Access Management solutions such as Keycloak
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and containerd
- Experience with automation frameworks including Ansible for deployment orchestration
- Familiarity with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins
- Experience with Git source control system
