Software Developer III (RPMS/MUMPS)

Job Summary
Software Developer III to support a federal IHS contract, developing technical solutions for clinical applications using MUMPS/FileMan within the RPMS. Responsibilities include solving moderately complex software problems, secure system engineering, designing test scenarios for functional/regression testing, and providing user support across a distributed team in healthcare IT environments. Preferred focus areas include FileMan/M (MUMPS) programming, RPMS/IHS familiarity, Agile processes, QA lifecycle, and experience with Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps; candidate should have strong collaboration skills and knowledge of VA/IHS environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/systems, information systems/technology engineering/engineering technology, software engineering/programming, management, natural sciences, social sciences, mathematics, or business/finance from an accredited college or university
- Eight years’ experience, including at least six years specialized experience in HIT system design and development
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
