Job Summary
The Software Developer I designs, develops, tests, implements, and maintains software applications supporting business operations and enterprise systems. Works with programming languages and database-driven applications to deliver secure, reliable, and efficient solutions, collaborating with IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to analyze requirements, resolve issues, and improve functionality and performance. Responsibilities include modifying code to fix errors, performing detailed analyses, applying SDLC principles, handling installation/configuration/development/monitoring/upgrades, conducting unit and application-level tests, debugging and resolving issues with minimal guidance, and escalating complex issues to senior staff. Recommended qualifications include an Associates degree in a related field and up to 2 years of professional software development experience; familiarity with databases, APIs, and cloud-based applications; strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills. Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic level technical/professional knowledge

- Able to communicate to others when working on application programming
- 2 years of professional experience in software development or related technical roles
