Job Summary
Software Developer for Govlead: role involves modifying and enhancing Govlead software, designing and developing billing and payment processing functionality, implementing subscription management and recurring billing, analyzing information to plan system modifications, coordinating with Business Development and customers, updating the Govlead website and User Manual, and creating technical documentation. Core responsibilities include writing code, fixing errors, optimizing performance, upgrading interfaces, ensuring secure payment handling, automated billing, customer account management, and compliance with payment industry standards. Required skills include C# ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server, AWS, and experience with PayPal APIs and credit card processors; a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required. Part-time, temporary with locations in Merritt Island, FL or remote in the US; candidates subject to a security background check.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree or years of experience equal to a bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle
- Ability to develop unit testing of code components or complete applications
- Experience with C# ASP.NET MVC
- Experience with Entity Framework
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with Amazon Web Services
- Desired experience: Linux based applications
- Experience with Docker
- Experience integrating PayPal APIs and credit card processors
