Job Summary
Design and develop custom solutions within the Epicor ERP system, building programs that interface with in-house applications. Work with the development team to build and maintain Centerpoint, our custom platform using C#, Vue.js, and SQL Server. Collaborate with departments to gather requirements, determine technical approaches, and design database schemas for new features and reporting. Write clean, maintainable code while anticipating and resolving potential issues proactively. Provide occasional technical support to internal users and work within established IT team processes. This on-site role in Salina supports every corner of the company's operations through a small, collaborative IT team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment that uses ERP software
- Strong skills in C#/.NET, SQL, and JavaScript
- Ability to work with REST APIs to integrate third-party applications
- Able to understand, modify, and refactor existing code in an unfamiliar codebase
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
- Proven skills in prioritization, time management, and decision-making
- Self-directed — able to take ownership of projects from requirements to delivery
- Team oriented — collaborates well with the IT team and users across the company
Desired Qualifications
- experience with Vue.js
- Experience with ERP systems, especially Epicor (BPMs, BAQs, dashboards)
- Experience with Git and version-control workflows
- Experience setting up and working within the Azure ecosystem
- Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Copilot, Claude) in daily development
- iOS/Android app development experience
