Job Summary
Software Developer at Fidelity Canada (100% remote) focusing on CRM and Events Management solutions in Salesforce. Responsibilities include developing LWC/Apex/Visualforce in Salesforce, configuring and integrating Marketo, Einstein Analytics/Tableau CRM components, leading project work packages, planning upgrades/migrations, supporting CRM and Events Management tools, participating in incident/maintenance tickets, and delivering technical presentations and demos. Requires 2+ years in Salesforce backend solutions, Java, REST services, full software development lifecycle, strong analytical and communication skills, leadership abilities, and Salesforce/Marketo experience. Education typically a computer science degree or equivalent experience; Salesforce Platform Developer I/II certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce platform, emphasizing backend solutions (Apex and APIs) as well as system integration
- Familiarity with data governance and security best practices
- Experience developing in Java, experience with Web Services Development
- Solid experience with the full life cycle of software development
- Strong leadership skills
- Detail oriented, with strong analytical skills
- Customer service oriented
- Solid written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to business users
- Self-starter with strong teamwork culture
- Nice to Have Hands-on experience with Marketo
- Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud development
- Experience with Salesforce Financial Cloud development
- Development experience with REST Web Services
- Education: University degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
- Salesforce Certification – Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II preferred
