Job Summary
Develop and maintain cloud-native data-rich mission management applications within an agile, multidisciplinary team. Build and evolve Java back-end services (Java 17, Spring Boot) and front-end interfaces (JavaScript/TypeScript with Vue/Bootstrap), write automated tests, and deploy to a fully automated DevSecOps pipeline. Collaborate to design, troubleshoot, and maintain microservices and a UI for complex workflows, participate in stand-up meetings, and contribute to TEMs as needed. Technologies include AWS stack (EC2, RDS, S3, SNS/SQS, Lambda), databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, DynamoDB), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD, Git, Jira, Confluence). Required: TS/SCI with poly (or willingness to obtain), a STEM bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in software development, Linux experience, container/microservice experience, and ability to work in Agile Kanban environments. Desired: additional Agile/DevOps tools experience and testing frameworks like Cypress, Mockito, JUnit, and TDD practices.
Required Qualifications
- Clearance: TS/SCI with poly (or willing to take a polygraph)
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM field or related experience
- 3+ years experience in software development
- Experience with Java/Back-end OR Experience with Web/Front End
- Experience developing within Linux environment
- Experience with containers or microservice architecture
- Willingness to work across Full Stack of product
- Willingness to work within true Agile Kanban processes and dynamic development environments
- Demonstrated experience working with others in a team environment
- Current Security+ certification (or willingness to get it)
