Job Summary
Develop fully functional, responsive web interfaces using React and modern front-end frameworks while ensuring cross-platform compatibility across devices and browsers. Build and maintain scalable ASP.NET APIs and microservices, optimise performance across front-end and back-end systems, and enhance database performance through efficient SQL Server query design. Leverage Azure services including Functions, App Services, and API Management to deliver seamless digital experiences. This permanent role reports to the Systems and Technology Manager in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment focused on renewable energy solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of experience in software development or a related role
- Strong skills and understanding of programming languages, database management, and web applications
- Proficient in C#/.NET, ASP.NET, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused with excellent attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience working with SQL and relational databases
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, unit testing frameworks and best practices
