Job Summary
Coordinate development and integration of components for new versions of interlocking solutions and railway traffic management systems. Analyze new software features and reported problems, then design use case scenarios and data models through requirement workshops. Implement software extensions, bug fixes, and test required functions, followed by module and integration testing on the target system. Document all implemented software and rework if necessary while adhering to safety-critical system standards. Requires a Bachelor's in Computer Science, 2+ years of software development experience, and knowledge of CHILL or C. Based in Vienna with up to 60% home office flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Technical education, preferably Bachelors studies in Computer Science or similar (FH, HTL)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Software Development
- Basic knowledge of UNIX or LINUX
- Basic knowledge in: Work processes by process-controlled development
- Higher programming languages (CHILL and C experience advantageous)
- Development environments
- Bug reporting tools (JIRA preferred)
- Experience at least with one higher programming language
- Systematic approach at designing solutions, holistic and not isolated analysis of problems
- Knowledge in security verification & experience in analyzing security related issues (e.g. CVEs)
- Excellent level of German and good level of English
Desired Qualifications
- Security certification is a plus (e.g. ISC-CISSP)
