Job Summary
The Software Developer will design, develop, and maintain software applications, collaborating with the IT team. Responsibilities include writing, testing, and debugging code, troubleshooting software issues, and gathering user feedback. Candidates must have experience in Python, JavaScript, Ruby, or Perl, and be proficient in front-end or back-end development in UNIX or LINUX environments. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required, along with strong analytical skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field—or equivalent professional experience
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: Python, JavaScript, Ruby, or Perl
- Experience in front-end or back-end development for UNIX or LINUX environments
- Familiarity with SQL for data manipulation and retrieval
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of database management and security practices (preferred)
