Job Summary
Design, develop, and deliver scalable software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, SQL Server, and REST-based services to support front-office investment management and trading functions. Collaborate with business and technology teams to solve complex challenges, improve operational efficiency, and build applications that power portfolio optimization and capital markets capabilities. Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle in a collaborative Agile environment while applying analytical thinking to evaluate technical challenges and deliver effective solutions. Work on-site in a fast-paced delivery environment requiring strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, SQL Server, JSON, and REST-based services
- Demonstrated ability to build and support scalable software solutions that meet business objectives while maintaining quality, reliability, and performance standards
- Experience working within Agile development teams and contributing throughout the software development lifecycle
- Ability to apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate technical challenges, identify root causes, and deliver effective solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business and technology stakeholders
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic delivery environment
- Must be available for on-site work in the specified location(s)
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Experience with cloud platforms or cloud-native development, including AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience supporting investment management, capital markets, trading, or asset management technology environments
- Experience building portfolio optimization or quantitative investment solutions using tools such as Axioma, Gurobi, or similar optimization platforms
- Knowledge of options trading strategies, derivatives, or other financial markets products
- Experience with DevOps practices, continuous integration, and automated deployment pipelines
- Ability to thrive in highly collaborative, self-managed Agile teams while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong organizational skills and a growth mindset focused on continuous learning and technology innovation
