Job Summary
Software Developer role designing and delivering scalable, cloud-ready solutions for bp in a hybrid office/remote setting. Responsibilities include creating solution architectures aligned with business goals, translating requirements into integration models and data structures, collaborating across teams to align on architecture and best practices, identifying opportunities for modernization and reuse, and supporting cost-effective delivery. The role requires experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), monitoring tools (Splunk, CloudWatch), DevOps technologies (ADO, Ansible, Artifactory, Jenkins, Git), SQL and databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres), and strong .NET (C#) with object-oriented design. Candidates should be able to provide architectural guidance, participate in technical reviews, and effectively communicate with stakeholders; familiarity with U.S. retail power markets is a plus.
