Job Summary
Coordinate comprehensive software and data solutions through the full lifecycle, including designing, coding, documenting, and testing both new development projects and maintenance activities. Analyze user needs to determine design feasibility within time and cost constraints while developing ETL pipelines in the cloud to import, process, and store data for product teams. Build and enhance Spark software-based pipelines in Python, manage AWS managed AirFlow DAGs, and support legacy database processes using SSIS on on-premises SQL servers. Confer with systems analysts and engineers to design systems, monitor equipment conformance to specifications, and deliver high-quality, secure, tested data solutions across cloud and premises environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems or closely related field
- 3 years of experience using SQL server integration services (SSIS) including experience upgrading, enhancing and troubleshooting legacy systems as well as designing new functionality
- 3 years of experience using NodeJS software coding language in cloud systems and on-premises SQL Servers
- 3 years of experience using Event Sourcing and Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS) patterns for designing software solutions
- 3 years of experience implementing and enhancing Spark software-based pipelines written in Python
- 3 years of experience using AirFlow to schedule and monitor software jobs on a variety of frequencies
- 3 years of experience designing and deploying new DAGs (Directed Acyclic Graphs) and using AWS managed Airflow
- Must live within commuting distance of Midvale, UT
