Job Summary
Software Developer Azurion Eye will design and develop backend services for the Lab Orchestrator using Go, building deterministic orchestration services that integrate with an edge-native platform. You will implement workflow orchestration capabilities including event ingestion, state handling, rule evaluation, suppression logic, prioritization, and idempotent action emission, and you’ll work with NATS JetStream, AsyncAPI-described subjects, and OpenAPI-defined APIs. You’ll contribute to CI/CD, build observability, and ensure low-latency, reliable event-driven operation in a regulated environment. You’ll collaborate across the Image Guided Therapy Systems unit with product managers, architects, system engineers, clinical experts, Data & AI Engineers, and Software Test Engineers to deliver workflow behavior aligned with product and clinical intent. The role requires a Bachelor’s/Master’s in a relevant field and at least 2 years of related experience, and offers in-person collaboration with offices in the Netherlands, China, and India, with a hybrid work arrangement in office locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
- minimum 2 years of experience in Software Development, Software Design & Architecture, Testing and Quality Assurance (or equivalent)
- proficiency in Golang and Python
- experience with event-driven systems and messaging technologies such as NATS and/or Kafka
- experience with RESTful API design (Swagger/OpenAPI)
- strong Linux development background
- experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- ability to interface cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and clinical specialists
- self-motivated with good organization and time management
