Job Summary
Software Developer to contribute to advanced air-defense modeling, simulation and tool development. Responsibilities include building and exercising air defense sensor detection/tracking, command/control and mission planning software tools within an object-oriented modular architecture; integrating system analysis and threat modeling into existing modeling capabilities; surveying intelligence data to improve model data quality; preparing technical reports and PowerPoint presentations; and authoring clear documentation of developed capabilities. Requires strong software development background (C/C++, MATLAB, Python, scripting languages), experience with modeling and simulation, and a BS/BA in Physics, Engineering, Applied Math or Computer Science. The role involves collaboration in a defense-research context, on-site near Lexington, MA, with eligibility for interim/active secret clearance and US citizenship.
